Berwyn combines tradition and elegance.  Berwyn is a full overlay door constructed with a mitered squared outer edge, beaded interior profile, recessed center panel and a five-piece drawer head.  Available exclusively in our new Opal paint, a warm white with grey undertones. 

NOTE - THIS IS FOR UNIVERSAL DESIGN BASE, VANITY, & TALL CABINETS ONLY.  There are no wall cabinets, crown molding, decorative items, etc in this collection since this is strictly for universal design (UD) cabinetry.  For any of those items that are needed to complete your project, please shop the matching standard line of cabinets here - Wolf Classic Berwyn Opal

All WOLF Classic Cabinets are proudly made in the USA and factory-assembled without cams, brackets or clips (See "Construction" tab for more specifics)

  • Opal paint - A warm white with grey undertones

    • 1/2" sides, backs, tops, and bottoms
  • 3/4" solid maple face frames
  • 3/4" solid wood corner blocks on base cabinets
  • Mitered maple door frames with a recessed MDF center panel
  • Maple drawer with a five-piece drawer front and recessed MDF center panel 
  • Solid wood dovetail drawer construction
  • Undermount, full-extension, soft-close drawers
  • Hidden, six-way adjustable hinges with soft-close mechanism
  • Cabinets with bi-fold doors are not soft close
  • Hidden plywood hanging rails top and bottom

      You can be confident when choosing Wolf Classic cabinets. In addition to the specifications below and the certifications from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) and the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) for both the Expression and Insight Series, Wolf Classic boasts a 5-year warranty.

       


       1.  Face Frames

        Made from 3/4" thick solid wood.  Front Stiles are pocket drilled and assembled with 1 1/4" screws for rugged durability.    
        2.  Side Panels 

          1/2" plywood with matching exterior laminate, glued and stapled in a 1/2" dado in the cabinet's front frame
          3.  Back Panels 

            Made from vinyl covered (inside only) 1/2 ̋  plywood, glued and nailed in a 1/2" dado and stapled to the cabinet top and bottom.  Plywood hanging rails are installed at both the top and bottom of the cabinet.  
            4. Corner Blocks (Bases)

              3/4" Wood corner blocks installed on corners of base cabinets 
              5. Height (Bases/Vanity Bases)

                All UD base and vanity base cabinets are 32 1∕2" high.
                6.  Toe Kick

                Toekick height of 5 1/2" and depth of 4 1/16".
                *No Shelves 

                  UD bases do not include an interior shelf due to cabinet and toekick heights.

                    Hudson Antique White, York White and Dartmouth White - White interior

                    All others - Natural maple interior

                    Wolf Classic cabinets comply with The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) Certification Program and are 100% CARB-compliant, meeting the rigorous requirements of ESP 05-12 for Air Quality, Resource Management of Product and Process, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Relations. Wolf Classic cabinets are also an approved participant in the KCMA Environmental Stewardship Program.

                    Universal Design, also known as Aging in Place Design, is a much broader concept than ADA compliant cabinets. The goal is to create an environment that is usable, to the greatest extent possible, by people of any age or ability without the need for a special design or adaptation. In order be considered UD, your design must consider the space needed for approach, reach, manipulation and overall use regardless of the user’s body size, posture or mobility.
